Apple’s new iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will come out soon likely this fall. The new phones will look similar to the iPhone 15 Pro but with some important changes.
Thinner Bezels The iPhone 16 Pro will have very thin bezels (the edge around the screen). This is possible because of new display technology. In the past the bezel size got smaller from the iPhone 14 to the iPhone 15 series going from about 3.5mm to under 2mm. The iPhone 16 Pro will have even thinner bezels using a technology called Border Reduction Structure (BRS). This technology bends the wiring and circuitry near the edges downwards which is a bit tricky to make.
Larger Screens The iPhone 16 Pro series will also have slightly larger screens. The iPhone 16 Pro screen will increase from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches. The iPhone 16 Pro Max screen will grow from 6.7 inches to 6.9 inches.
