According to latest UNICEF reports more than 90 percent children in Gaza lack essential nutrients for growth. The report says that majority of children in Gaza do not have access to food which is required for their particular age group. War in Gaza, restriction on aid, limited or no access to health care facilities have destroyed the food systems in Gaza. The direct impact of this whole phenomenon is negative outcomes and impacts on children health. UNICEF reports have shared data from December 2023 to April 2024 which claims that 9 out of 10 children in Gaza are severely malnourished.
Due to war in Gaza children are missing basic food essentials required for their growth like eggs, dairy products, meat, fruits, vegetables and breast milk as well.
