Faisalabad: FIA has arrested three employees of Faisalabad Electric Supply Company on charges of overbilling. As per information shared by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) three employees including one senior officer were involved in charging extra additional unites to customers.
FIA Spokesperson further shared that accused had charged about 59,738 additional and unnecessary units in bills of more than 30 users. In this way accused overbilled more than 1 crore 58 lakh rupees to users. Accused employees are Muhammad Amir serving as Superintending Engineer, SDO Ghulam Abbas, Muhammad Shafiq and Meter Inspector and involved in this scam. FIA has arrested accused person for further investigation.
