Indian Court has granted Bail to Kashmiri Journalist Asif Sultan after 5 years of imprisonment. Asif Sultan is Award winning Journalist in Indian Occupied Kashmir. Asif Sultan was arrested in 2018 under accusation of “harboring Known Militants” further he was also accused of participating in a Jail riot.
Asif Sultan reached home on Wednesday but still the bail conditions are very harsh. Like he his not allowed to speak anyone other than his family members. He is not allowed to use encrypted communication apps and cannot allow anyone to use his phone.
Kashmiri Journalists say after Prime Minister Narendar Mohdi’s sanction on independent media Journalists have suffered a lot. Media workers are being arrested and summoned by Police for Interrogation over their work.
