United Nation’s Working Group has raised multiple question on the decision to detain the PTI founder Imran Khan. UN working Group has stated that decision of Pakistani court for Imran Khan is arbitrary and violates international Law.
UN working has shared its legal opinion on the petition filed in United Nations by eminent law firm of Zulfi Bukhari against the arrest of Imran Khan. The report further mentioned that PTI founder and party were not given the due rights to defend themselves to the right to cross-examine the lawyers.
The report demanded from government of Pakistan to allow the working group to visit Pakistan and conduct an independent investigation into the conditions in the PTI founder’s position.
