Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan and President Sheikh Khalifa of the UAE decided to make their friendship stronger.
They talked on the phone. During the call Prime Minister Shehbaz shared his sadness about the passing of Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan and wished peace for his soul.
Prime Minister Shehbaz said that the people of Pakistan really respect the UAE’s royal family. They especially admire Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan who was a close friend.
The President of the UAE thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz for the phone call.
A few days ago Pakistan and the UAE agreed to work better together in many areas.
They talked about this promise in a phone call last Friday.
Prime Minister Shehbaz praised the UAE’s leaders for handling recent problems well especially after heavy rains.
He admired President Sheikh Mohamed for his strong leadership and care for his people.
Prime Minister Shehbaz also mentioned that Pakistan has faced heavy rains recently which caused many losses.
He suggested that both countries should work together to tackle climate change.
