This big jump in the stock market is happening at the same time as officials from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) are in Pakistan. They are talking to the Pakistani government about a new long-term loan. This loan is important for Pakistan to make some necessary changes in its economy.

The IMF has said that for the economy to be stable the country also needs to be politically stable. They will talk more about this next week when they meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
