Real-time Translation and Dubbing of YouTube Videos Now Possible in Microsoft Edge

Must read

Microsoft Edge will soon offer a real-time video translation feature.

This feature, available on YouTube, LinkedIn, and many other websites, utilizes AI technology to translate video languages for dubbing and subtitling. This feature is expected to reduce the human efforts in terms of translating and converting.

Currently, it can convert Spanish to English and will soon support translating English videos into German, Hindi, Italian, and Russian. But in future this feature will be extended to more languages.

Users who do not understand English will be able to hear translations in their native languages. Microsoft also noted that this new AI feature will make videos accessible to the deaf.

Real-time translation support for videos from news sites will be available in Edge soon, with more languages to be added in the near future.
