Samsung has stopped helping three of its Galaxy phones. These are the Galaxy A 51 5G, the Galaxy A41 and the Galaxy M01. These phones won’t get any more updates. This means they won’t get new features or fixes for problems. They won’t even get security updates anymore. But if there’s a very serious problem found Samsung might still send updates to these phones. This has happened before.
The Galaxy A51 5G came out in April 2020. It started with Android 10 and now has Android 13. The Galaxy A41 came out in May 2020 with Android 10 and now has Android 12. The Galaxy M01 came out in June 2020 with Android 10 and now also has Android 12. But they won’t get any more updates after this month.
These phones are not getting updates anymore because Samsung said they would only support them for four years. That time is up now. Reviews of these phones mentioned good things about them like the nice screen and cameras but also mentioned problems like slow fingerprint scanners and low speaker volume.
If you have one of these phones and need a new one you could consider the Galaxy A55. It has a big, high-quality screen and a fast processor. It also has a good camera and long-lasting battery. It comes with the latest Android version and will get updates for many years. It comes in different colours and costs around $350-$390.
So if you own one of the old phones you might want to think about getting the new Galaxy A55.
