Spain, Norway and Ireland have approved formal recognition of Palestine as a state. All three countries have accepted Palestine as a state. These states have accepted Palestine as a sovereign and independent state. After approval leaders of each country have passed a statement about Palestine’s sovereignty. Norwegian Foreign Minister said that Norway has always been an active defender of Palestine rights as a state from last 30 years.

Ireland officials also stated today Ireland has accepted Palestine as an independent state and cabinet of Ireland has decided to establish diplomatic relations between Ireland and Palestine.

Also, Pedro Sanchez Prime Minister of Spain has said Palestine has suffered a lot of atrocities which is evident in the history, and according to US resolutions establishing peace and harmony is the prime responsibility of all of us and accepting Palestine as an independent state is a historic moment. It should be noted that after formal recognition from Ireland, Spain and Norway the number of countries that recognize Palestine has now reached 146.
