Surah Al-An’am (Arabic: سورة الأنعام) is the sixth chapter of the Qur’an with 165 verses. Its name is Al-An’am which translates to The Cattle in English and the surah mainly discusses various aspects of faith, the Oneness of Allah and the rejection of polytheism. This surah was revealed in Mecca making it one of the Meccan surahs which typically focus on theology, the afterlife and the distinction between the followers of the revelation and the unbelievers.
