Due to extreme weather conditions yellow alert has been issued at Arafat Field. Alert has been issued as the temperature is expected to reach at 47 degrees. Arafat is the main day of Hajj and it is being performed today. Saudi Government has made special arrangements for comfort of Pilgrims and to counter heat special fountains are being used to keep the atmosphere cooler.
Government has also advised pilgrims to avoid open spaces and try to remain under roof for maximum period to avoid heat stroke.
